Farmers across the Southeast are encouraged to take part in the 2nd Southern Cover Crop Conference, July 16-17 in Auburn, Alabama. The event, hosted by the Southern Cover Crop Council, will be a good educational and networking experience for farmers and service providers. There will be many farmer speakers, equipment demos, and even lunch is provided. USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service invites you to register now, as farmers who sign up now may be able to get free registration. Simply do so by entering the promo code: FARMER
There are also a limited number of scholarships available that provide hotel rooms for producers on the nights of July 15 and 16. Farmers interested in receiving scholarships can send an email to: avg0001@auburn.edu

Plus, a poster competition will be held. They are accepting abstracts for research posters until April 1st.Andthere will be competitions for undergraduate and graduate students, so students working with cover crops are also encouraged to apply.
