COUNTRY Financial is partnering with Sunbelt Ag Expo to host the Youth Educational Challenges. Lindsey Rinkenberger, director of agribusiness operations at COUNTRY Financial, explains.

Nothing brings people together like a porch! COUNTRY Financial® welcomes you to our home, as we open our front porch on Tuesday, October 16th, with the welcome sign out, the music playing, games available, and the lemonade ready at North America’s Premier Farm Show. COUNTRY Financial is especially pleased to welcome and support America’s future farm leaders in several ways throughout the Sunbelt Ag Expo.

Activities start with a special recognition and a $500 donation at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday to the Agriculture Department at Colquitt County High School, whose FFA members built the front porch for COUNTRY Financials’ exhibit space. Throughout the expo, the porch, located in booth B-8-587, will house live music by Heath Deloach, and be open for media interviews throughout the rest of each day.

On Wednesday, October 17th, COUNTRY Financial will partner with the Sunbelt Ag Expo to host Youth Educational Challenges for students in 6th through 12th grade between 8:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.Competitions ranging from floral design to wildlife and forestry identification will take place in the R.W. Griffin Building, with more than 300 competitors signed up and ready to participate.

Finally, on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m., COUNTRY Financial will welcome more than 1,000 young farmers at the Young Farmers Annual Dinner, located in the Maule Hangar.

“COUNTRY Financial was founded by farmers in 1925, who wanted to make sure their farms and legacy were protected,” said Lindsey Rinkenberger, Director of Agribusiness Operations. “We are excited to have a large presence this year at the Sunbelt Ag Expo, support and educate visitors with our company’s heritage, meet with many of our existing clients, and build new relationships with the extraordinary farmers that live and work in our southeast market areas.”
