Final 2017 Cotton Crop Numbers

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS) has released the final production figures from the 2017 cotton crop. Bianca Pruneda, with NASS in Washington, D.C., reports the crop was up 22 percent from 2016.

Alico, Inc., which completed its last major citrus harvest this year, announced results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Sept. 30.
