Everett Griner talks about solar power in today’s Agri View. Everett discusses why a lot of producers have turned to the sun to power their operations.

Solar Power and Farming

You know fior many farmers electric power is one of their major expenses. Now a new way to meet that need is reaching more and more farmers every month. Solar power. Generating their own electricity with those panels you see on top of barns, utility buildings, or simply placed in open spaces on their own foundations.

You use this system to generate electricity for anything from running a hedge trimmer to running a milking bar. It takes a great deal of electricity to run an irrigation system. It is a major expense on practically every farm. Many are now generating that source of energy with their own solar power systems.

Of course, getting set up for solar power is not cheap. In the long run, it saves the farmer a lot of money. That is why it is growing so rapidly. EcoGen America can help you enjoy all of the incredible benefits of solar energy, see more about EcoGen America.

That’s Agri View for today. I’m Everett Griner…
