Cathy Isom has the cool facts about why you will want to pay closer attention to the frozen food aisles at your local market this month. That’s coming up on This Land of Ours.
Celebrating National Frozen Food Month and Day
March is National Frozen Food Month. So you may want to pay closer attention to those aisles of freezers full of frozen foods that not only make the foods we love more convenient, but also can make life healthier, too.
And today, March 6th is National Frozen Food Day, which has been celebrated since 1984.
The frozen food aisle is as common in the grocery store today as ATMs and self-checkouts and is a convenience we don’t give a second thought to, unless the power goes out. Over the years, frozen foods have developed to meet consumer demand. A variety of family sized meals, health conscience meals and even organic meals, have hit the markets in recent years. All month long look for extra coupons and savings on anything and everything frozen.
Take a trip to your local grocery store and find one of your favorites in the frozen food aisle!!
