Syngenta is helping to lead an industry-wide effort to develop common language for farm software and equipment. The Agricultural Data Application Programming Toolkit, known as ADAPT, is a project that Ag Gateway, a nonprofit group of more than 230 ag companies is spearheading.
Aaron Deardorff, head of digital agriculture solutions at Syngenta explains the benefits of ADAPT for U.S. growers.
He says the goal of helping growers manage their operations more efficiently and collect their data more easily fits in well with commitments at Syngenta.
He says growers can expect to see the benefits as soon as next year.
He says there are other ways the Syngenta Digital Ag Solutions team is working to make life easier for growers, as well.
