Everett Griner talks about mechanical technology and how it works on the farm in today’s Agri View.
Originally, pickup trucks with an Industrial Diesel Engine were a handy vehicle to serve farmers. You know, today they are designed more to carry passengers than a load of feed. It has become the family vehicle instead of the traditional 4-door sedan. But, you know the old conventional pickup has some backup help in serving farmers today.
The ATV and UTV have become the new work horses on the farm. What began as a family 4 wheeler for family fun has become a 4 wheel drive vehicle that pulls an air tow utility trailer, drives cattle, and performs a variety of jobs that are part of everyday life on the farm. If you plan to invest in one of these vehicles, you may visit a local utv dealer to explore your options.
Like the pickup, these ATV’s and UTV’s have been improved to perform more, and more, farm jobs. Making it easier for people who run their own farm to do a better job.
Just another form of technology that works.
That’s Agri View for today. I’m Everett Griner…
