Survey Indicates Slight Decrease in Georgia Cotton Acres

Georgia Cotton CommissionThe 2017 Annual Planting Intentions Survey from the National Cotton Council estimates U.S. cotton acres will expand nearly 10 percent this year, projecting 11.0 million acres of cotton will be planted. But according to Georgia Cotton Commission’s Richey Seaton, the survey shows fewer acres are expected in Georgia.
