Despite Recent Rain Drought Continues in Parts of Alabama

Despite the fact several inches of rain has fallen in many areas of Alabama over the past few weeks, the U.S. Drought Monitor this week is showing that the Northern half of the state is still considered to be in severe to extreme drought conditions.
