Back in the mid-’80s, Rebecca Shaw decided to plant loblolly pine on her farm located south of Quincy, Florida. But over the years, she and her son Dick decided they also wanted better wildlife habitat on their property. So they learned about USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service’s (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
