Both the U.S. House and Senate did pass the mandatory GMO labeling bill before starting their summer recess, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture is already working on the rulemaking process. Janell Hendren, national affairs coordinator for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, says they are happy to support the bill.
