Two Weeks Left to Apply for Florida Pine Beetle Program

fl-forest-service-logoThere are only two weeks left to apply with the Florida Forest Service for the Southern Pine Beetle Assistance and Prevention Program. This is for non-industrial private forest landowners. Applications need to be in by July 30.

The program is available for non-industrial private forest landowners in 44 northern Florida counties and is supported through a grant from the USDA Forest Service. Qualified landowners may apply for reimbursement of up to two different preventative activities per year.
