EPA Proposal to Approve Dicamba use on GE Soybeans and Cotton

Randall Weiseman Cotton, Field Crops, General, Soybeans

If an EPA proposal to approve Dicamba for use on genetically engineered soybeans and cotton is approved, growers would have a new tool at their disposal. EPA said weeds are becoming increasingly resistant to glyphosate-based herbicides, and the availability of dicamba will help reduce the spread of glyphosate-resistant weeds. The comment period on the EPA proposal ends April 30.
