Sen. Bill Nelson
This year’s citrus crop forecast left growers shocked with an all-Florida orange estimate of only 80 million boxes. In light of this estimate, Sen. Bill Nelson held a meeting with a group of citrus growers yesterday at the Florida Citrus Mutual headquarters. Sen. Nelson spoke with us after the meeting and gave some words of encouragement to the citrus industry.
