RCPP Funding Longleaf Restoration Initiative in Alabama

One of the three projects that will be funded in Alabama through the new Regional Conservation Partnership Program involves creating a sustainable working forest comprised of native longleaf pine. Steve Musser with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Alabama says this is a project that will provide environmental and economic benefits.
