New Programs to Help Farmers Manage Risk

USDA has announced new programs designed to help farmers better manage risk. And according to Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack, farmers will have several important decisions to make over the next few months with the opportunity to make the first of those this coming Monday.

USDA helped create online tools that allow farmers to enter information about their operation and see projections about what each program will mean for them under possible future scenarios. The new tools are available at www.fsa.usda.gov/arc-plc.
