The 2014 National Conference of the National Association of Resource Conservation and Development is taking place in Mobile, Alabama this week. The event started Sunday and runs through Wednesday at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel. Over 300 folks from across the country are in attendance and they were able to hear from USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Chief Jason Weller. He was the keynote speaker at today’s luncheon and I was able to chat with him about some of the programs NRCS wants landowners to be aware of.
