Steak lovers across Alabama cast their votes again this year for their favorite steak restaurant. When the bracket challenge brought it down to the “Fiery Four”, the judges were sent out. And yesterday evening in Atmore, the Fire Steakhouse was presented the plaque as the 2013 Alabama Best Steak Winner.
Alabama Cattlemen’s Association President Jimmy Holliman made the presentation to Gene Schnell who told me they were very pleased with this honor.
ACA Executive Vice President, Dr. Billy Powell was also on hand for the event yesterday as he talked about how well the contest went this year.
Erin Beasley, Director of Consumer Marketing for the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association, was also very pleased with the contest and the excitement it generated in communities across the state.
The staff at the Fire Restaurant, located inside the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel in Atmore, posed for a picture as all were excited about being the winner of the 2013 Alabama Best Steak Contest.
