This Saturday October 5th, Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle and Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black will join various members of the Georgia General Assembly for the 3rd Annual Legislative Livestock Showdown at the Georgia National Fair in Perry. The event starts at 4:00pm in the Sutherland Livestock & Equine Arena as it brings together members of the Georgia General Assembly with members of Georgia’s FFA and 4-H organizations. The legislators, along with assistance from 10 experienced livestock show participants, will show in a showmanship competition, which features the legislators being judged on how they handled their animals in the showmanship ring.
