Well a new “Made in Alabama” re-branding campaign for the State Department of Commerce will focus on forestry and agriculture. The new economic recruitment campaign is designed to enhance the state’s image for job recruitment and includes a new website, MadeInAlabama.com. Along with agriculture, the website touts Alabama as home to innovations in the automobile industry, bioscience and aerospace. According to a recent study from Auburn University, Agriculture and forestry contribute $70.4 billion annually to Alabama’s economy and employ more than 580,000 people.
