On this week’s Florida Commissioner’s Spotlight, Commissioner Adam Putnam talks about the 10th annual Agriculture Literacy Day, which will be recognized on April 30th. On that day, volunteers will visit elementary school classrooms and read from a book created for the event, called “Florida Farm History!” The book commemorates the 500th anniversary of Ponce de León’s discovery of Florida in 1513 as it teaches young readers about where our food comes from.
