The Alabama Cattlemen’s Association held their fall board meeting in Montgomery Thursday as a good crowd was on hand to catch up on the latest information provided by the various speakers.
ACA’s Dr. Billy Powell told me he was pleased with crowd at the meeting and with the various issues that were discussed and the actions the board took on a project which is expected to start soon at their headquarters.
National Cattlemen’s Beef Assocation CEO Forrest Roberts was able to make a trip to Montgomery for the board meeting as he talked to the group about a variety of issues and I caught up with him afterwards to discuss of few of those.
And Alabama Agriculture Commissioner John McMillan was also on hand to talk with those in attendance of yesterday’s meeting as he has been pleased with the way things have turned out this fiscal year which ends Sunday.
