A large crowd of peanut and cotton farmers gathered in Tifton Wednesday to learn more about research efforts from the University of Georgia Extension Cotton and Peanut Teams. The Joint Cotton and Peanut Research Field day was co-sponsored by the Georgia Cotton Commission and the Georgia Peanut Commission.
Cotton specialist Dr. Guy Collins is in charge of coordinating the event and he spoke with us regarding the success of the field day as well as the cotton crop so far.
