The Alabama Forestry Commission, in partnership with other agencies, held a regional Forestry Field Day Thursday at the Muleshoe Plantation located in the southeast corner of Houston County.
A big crowd was on hand for the event which included Alabama Agriculture Commissioner John McMillan who told me he really enjoyed the tour of Muleshoe Plantation.
Another Regional Forestry Field Day event took place today at the Snoddy Farm in Winston County, Alabama with another one scheduled for Thursday, October 13th at Barton Ridge Plantation in Coosa County, Alabama. More information is available on the Alabama Natural Resources Conservation Service website.
