Florida was the sight of a recent field hearing hosted by the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. The hearing focused on Numeric Nutrient Criteria and one of those attending, Charles Shinn, Asst. Director of Government & Community Affairs for the Florida Farm Bureau, says he hopes efforts such as this one will help put the brakes on the EPA.
