*Here’s a note from the Florida Federal-State Livestock Market News Service:
Again a reminder that the budget proposed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and passed by the Florida State Legislature this year did not include funding for the continuation of the Livestock Market News Service. However, the Department is working with leaders in the industry to identify possible options that may allow us to continue this service. As we consider the options, we welcome your input and feedback. The Department will provide an update once we have determined the future of the Livestock Market News Service.
But again at last word this service was scheduled to end June 30th, so if we hear any different at Southeast AgNet we’ll let you know. But at this time this may be the last weekly report for Florida.
