$47 million dollars has been allocated to fund eight research and development projects that will support the production of biofuels, bioenergy and high-value biobased products from a variety of biomass sources. And the University of Florida is to receive 5.4 million of those funds to improve the sustainability and efficiency of sweet sorghum
