Ag Sector has Concerns as Debate on 2012 Budget Starts

The House Budget Committee Chairman, Paul Ryan, has proposed a 2012 budget plan that would reduce spending by 179-billion dollars the first year and 5.6-trillion over the next decade. But Gary Adams, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis at the National Cotton Council, says it has many in the Ag industry concerned by the extent of the cuts to commodity, conservation and nutrition programs.
