Florida’s Senate Budget Committee is scheduled to debate SB2040, a bill that would mandate all employers in Florida to use the federal E-Verify system to ensure employees are in good standing. Florida Farm Bureau’s director of state legislative affairs, Ben Parks says several Ag groups have opposed this bill as written.
