It’s one of the biggest agriculture conventions in the nation each year and it includes producers and agriculture professionals 
involved with four major crops produced in the u. s. – Corn, Soybeans, Wheat and Sorghum. A record crowd of nearly 5,000 escaped cold homes in the midwest and other regions to come to Tampa for this year’s Commodity Classic and it was a packed house to hear first the Chairman of the U. S. House Agriculture Committee, Frank Lucas, 
followed by U. S. Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vilsack at the convention’s major general session. If you have time to listen, you may find both speeches insightful.
