While most everyone is familiar with the current 10% ethanol blend already approved for all vehicles in the U.S., the Environmental Protection Agency announced this week they’ve decided now to allow 15% ethanol blends for 2007 and later model vehicles. While some in agriculture are pleased with this step towards strengthening America’s commitment to home-grown energy, most in the livestock industry are not.
