Regina Thomas, senior vice president/chief business development officer with Farm Credit of Central Florida, received the 16th annual Gene Batson Award for outstanding leadership and service to the Action Chapter of the Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association. Marco Rubio, candidate for the U.S. Senate, gave the keynote address at the Apopka award luncheon last week, which approximately 175 nursery industry members attended. Farm Credit sponsors the award.
