AL NRCS Working with Catfish Farmers for Migratory Bird Initiative

NRCS Chief Dave WhiteWillaim PuckettAlabama will receive a total of $3 million for the NRCS Migratory Bird Habitat Initiative, with $2 million dedicated to the conversion of catfish ponds through the Wetlands Reserve Program. And in this report we have Alabama State Conservationist, Dr. Bill Puckett, and NRCS Chief, Dave White, explaining how the funds are an important addition for both the migratory birds and the catfish farmers.
