During the National Environmental Stewardship Award presentation Thursday evening at the 2010 Cattle Industry Convention, Region II was well represented by Greenview Polled Hereford Farms, Inc. of Screven, Ga. Pictured is the Jonathan (Jonny) Harris Family receiving their regional award, as they were nominated by Georgia Cattlemen’s Association.
Then after the presentation of the seven regional winners, Leavitt Lake Ranches of Vina, Calif., was named the overall 2009 National Environmental Stewardship Award winner.
