Citrus Canker Rule Likely By Dec. 1; Old Rule Applies Now

In the first of these reports, Florida Citrus Mutual CEO Mike Sparks says indications are that a new citrus canker rule allowing shipments of fresh Florida citrus will be in place by Dec. 1 at the latest.

In the second report, he cautions that the existing canker rule remains in effect until the new one is in place, and that the new rule won’t change all shipping regulations.
