In this report, what we know so far about Rick Minton’s recent entry into the race for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture. The story is making the rounds in the ag industry rumor mill, but we did find one media report about it in a local newspaper in St Lucie County, published last Friday. Minton is from a citrus, cattle and real estate business background, and joins several others in the race. He is so far the only one we know of on the Democratic ticket.
