USDA’s Natural Resource and Conservation Service in Florida has extended it’s signup deadline from February 27 to March 13 for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program and Wetlands Reserve Program. These popular farm bill conservation programs offer technical and financial assistance to individuals interested in addressing natural resource concerns and wildlife habitat restoration. Even though the programs are a continuous signup, selecting applications for funding is conducted periodically through batching periods and therefore to be eligible for the next round of funding producers should have their information in by March 13.
