State Representative Ralph Poppell, a citrus grower from Legislative District 29 in the Indian River production region who chairs the House Natural Resources Appropriations Committee, spoke to the members of the Florida Fertilizer and Agrichemical Association gathered for their Winter Business Meeting in Cocoa Beach late last week. He filled the group in on the tough budget situation and some of the agriculture issues caught in the crossfire.
