You may not ever think of your hair cuts the same way as studies have shown that human hair discarded from barbershops and hair salons can also be a nutrient source for plants when combined with other compost materials. But researchers at Mississippi State University took it a step further by putting waste hair against commercial fertilizers to test if hair could act alone as an effective stimulant.
