For Immediate Release: Citrus Hall of Fame of Florida Announces 2008 Inductees
LAKELAND, Fla. (January 15, 2008) – The Selection Committee for The Citrus Hall of Fame of Florida has announced three distinguished leaders will be inducted into the Hall during a Citrus Celebration Luncheon on March 7, 2008.

J. Richard Graves, Jr. (deceased) of Vero Beach; Joseph D. Marshburn of St. Petersburg; and Norman Todd of LaBelle will be honored during the luncheon scheduled to take place in the Hollis Wellness Center at Florida Southern College in Lakeland.

In addition to the induction ceremonies, the event will also include a keynote speaker and a presentation on upcoming plans to partner with Florida Southern College in securing a permanent display for the Citrus Hall of Fame of Florida within the McKay Archive Building which is currently under construction. The display will include access to biographies on all members of the Citrus Hall of Fame of Florida, as well as an interactive website noting their accomplishments and various industry links.

The Citrus Hall of Fame of Florida honors distinguished leaders who have made significant contributions to the Florida citrus industry. This year’s event will honor all previous inductees as guests of the Hall of Fame. Tickets to the luncheon, which is sponsored by Florida Citrus Mutual and The Florida Department of Citrus, will be $50 per person; $100 for a Patron member, which ensures a reserved seat and an invitation to an OJ Reception with the inductees; $1000 for a Patron table, which is a reserved table of 8 complete with signage, mention in the program and inclusion in the OJ Reception with the inductees.
