In these reports, news and comments from the first meeting of the Marketing Alternatives Subcommittee of the Florida Department of Citrus. The subcommittee’s existence is part of the overall efforts of the Citrus Commission to find answers to the “free rider” issue where other orange producing states and nations get benefits from Citrus Department marketing efforts that are presently paid for only by Florida growers.
