Ribbon cutting for a new citrus pathology lab,  and re-dedication of a refurbished Ben Hill Griffin Citrus Hall were also featured. In the second report, a challenge to the research community from grower and chairman of the Citrus Production Research Advisory Council, Peter McClure.
