The House Ag Appropriations Act includes a $25 million increase in funding for ag education and FFA.

The bill also includes over 3.5 million for the Southeast Climate Consortium to continue providing farmers with long term climate forecasting and the products to manage climate-related risks.
And Congressman Allen Boyd (D-North Florida), a member of the House Appropriations Committee, reports he was able to secure $990,000 for farmers in Suwannee, Dixie, and Lafayette Counties to continue the implementation of practices to reduce dairy and poultry runoff impacting the Suwannee River.

Boyd also secured over $9.5 million for the Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture Research (T-STAR) Program at the University of Florida.
