Reminder of NRCS Organic Initiative Deadline

Friday, May 20 is the deadline for organic producers to take advantage of this round of funding from USDA’s Organic Initiative. Natural Resources Conservation Service Chief Dave White says the program is designed to offer assistance for certified organic producers and those transitioning to organic production to implement resource conservation practices on their agricultural operations.
