Last week, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue spent time in Georgia taking part in a roundtable discussion. One of the main topics was the recently passed and signed disaster aid bill. Georgia State Representative Mike Cheokas, who represents District 138, told Southeast AgNet’s Gary Cooper he’s glad to see the federal government finally stepping up to the plate.
