Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue hosted his counterparts from Mexico and Canada in an event held in Savannah, Georgia, where they toured the Georgia Ports Authority and took a farm tour. In a joint statement from Secretary Perdue, Canada’s Trade Minister MacAulay and Mexico’s Secretary of Agriculture Calzada, they said: “Our three countries remain committed to continued collaboration to ensure a safe and reliable regional supply chain that makes the North American agriculture sector more competitive.” During a press conference, AgNet Media’s Josh McGill was able to ask Secretary Perdue this question.
