Peter McClure of Double K Groves and University of Florida bee expert Jamie Ellis were among presenters at a recent meeting of citrus growers and beekeepers intended to reduce potential exposures of bees to pesticides. In the first report, McClure presents his view of the issue as a grower. In the second report, Ellis notes that pesticides aren’t the biggest problem for honey bees, and suggests a possible solution to the pesticide issue.
