University of Florida researchers, through their research of the invasive tomato thrips, also known as common blossom thrips, are encouraging South Florida vegetable growers worried about make certain they’re looking for the pest in the right places. The species native to South America attacks a variety of crops and is a major pest of tomatoes and cucumbers.
