During a hard workday as a citrus laborer recently, Gov. Rick Scott said he wants to help the citrus industry, Indian River Citrus League Executive Vice President Doug Bournique reports. The governor even summoned Bournique to his office a few days later to discuss industry needs. Bournique also says the governor worked hard as a fruit harvester and packinghouse worker.
