The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday announced that only one additional shipment of orange juice intended for import into the United States tested positive for the fungicide carbendazim at 10 parts per billion or higher, levels at which the agency detains the shipments or refuses their entry. That’s the least number of new positive findings of carbendazim since the agency began posting test results weekly in January; a total of 24 positives have now been detected.
